Ryleigh has a duck fetish. She loves them whether they are stuffed, plastic, or live. We went into
Zamzows (a pet/gardening store) and they had baby ducks in a cage.
Ryleigh watched them for a long while and was really excited and happy. She has never seen a live duck so close let alone a baby duck. They were pretty cute, but stinky.
We had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard Saturday night. The girls loved it.
Ryleigh was especially excited to see the jelly beans inside. She just kept eating them. Sunday morning, the girls were excited to see their baskets filled with treats and gifts.
Ryleigh wasn't too interested in the toys, but when she saw the eggs at the bottom, she jumped in. If you talked to
McKenna you learned that she got quite a few things for Easter. Tights, a necklace, paints, a puzzle,
bandaids, 4 chocolate bunnies (they were small), and a turtle shaped watering can. She is also really into the hair accessories that
Ryleigh received. She has worn more of them than
Ryleigh has.
McKenna spent Sunday night retelling the story of Jesus and his crucifixion and resurrection to us. I told it to her and her class in Primary and she wanted to tell us. She did a great job. It is great to know that she is learning so much about the gospel.
